Patrick Grant: Someone to Aspire to

"I'm not a fan of denim. I spent the best part of a year looking for the perfect shoes for jeans. Eventually I realised it wasn't the shoes that were a problem, it was the damn jeans. I don't like them."
Patrick Grant

Quoted in The Observer as one of his style secrets. Jeans are a problem! I've thought this for years...they're not that flattering and they just aren't that comfortable.

Patrick Grant is one designer I keep looking back on recently. He has grafted his business wisely from the beginning. Starting out by selling his house, and car and "everything else", to by Norton & Sons, the tailor. He then on to built E.Tautz the ready to wear line. Which still remains to be one of the few London Fashion Design houses that provides tailored elegance with a twist.
