Feeling eight-y-een

Culture Club's 1984 Miss Me Blind video. Boy George's inspiration.....cross dressing, Geisha, japanese writing and history, secrets, fire rituals, graffiti, masquerade....What does it all mean? Who knows but it's fun along the way.

Audrey: Need I Say More

Chic, fabulous, youthful, silly!

Jean Michel Basquiat

With so much looking back happening in fashion atm, 2014, fresh year, its no suprise that Andy Warhol's factory friends are being noted. I'd like to take a moment for Basquiat, thought of as troubled graffiti artist. It's his personality, his style and his apparent disregard for what people think that REALLY makes him someone worth considering. He's a lost soul wondering around new york looking for a direction....aren't we all like this a bit.

Blumen-Master

Barbara Palvin by Erwin Blumenfeld. Erwin, in my humble opinion is the genius behind hundreds of fashion designs, campaigns, advertisements...This collage photograph done in 1950 by Blumenfeld  has inspired countless campaigns not ignoring Chanel's video rendition. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT8AiihKFR0 Just wanted to take today to remind people of the never ending beauty this Blumen-marvelous man has brought to us.
